“The trip to Petrópolis was a delightful day, and our tour guide Julio was exceptional. He explained everything in Spanish, Portuguese and for 3 of us English. It was packed with different tours and it was photographers dream. The places we visited where fabulous and we're worth every real. Lunch was an all you could eat buffet and large selection of different foods. Although I didn't leave until 9.15 we didn't return until 8.30pm. I definitely would recommend this to tour to any traveller.”

We did not realize that the bus ride is initially three hours when we booked the experience but Nayt was so accommodating. He made sure to have the bus stop about half way through for a bathroom break that was very well timed. He was so efficient in educating us, taking orders for the photos, and moving along the group. The boat ride was a hoot! He’s all smiles, knowledge and fun! Made a long day well worth it. Ilha grande itself…”

He was so kind, knowledgeable, passionate and seemed to know everyone. The falls are incredible, even better in real life than any photo. Totally worth it! It’s important to purchase your tickets in advance and remember to bring your passport! There is WiFi on both sides (which surprised me!) and the bathrooms were very clean.”

“Petropolis is a fascinating place if you are interested in history. The guide was very knowledgeable about the different places we visited and could answer our questions. It is also a very picturesque place and we had plenty of opportunities for photographs, except in the Imperial Museum where it is not allowed. My only issue were there were times when things could be more organized. We were left in downtown for shopping for over one hour, and everyone felt that was a waste of time.”

We visited the Maracana Stadium, learnt all about Carnival, walked up the Seralon Steps then went to Christ the Redeemer. We had Patricia’s wonderful descriptions of all of the history. After driving along Ipanema and Copacabana beaches, we parked at the Cathedral then walked downtown to the beautiful Library and visited Confeteria Columbus. We were returned to the port in time to get ready for dinner on the ship. Thank you for your wonderful and warm conversation- your English is excellent!”
