“The trip to Petrópolis was a delightful day, and our tour guide Julio was exceptional. He explained everything in Spanish, Portuguese and for 3 of us English. It was packed with different tours and it was photographers dream. The places we visited where fabulous and we're worth every real. Lunch was an all you could eat buffet and large selection of different foods. Although I didn't leave until 9.15 we didn't return until 8.30pm. I definitely would recommend this to tour to any traveller.”

“Petropolis is a fascinating place if you are interested in history. The guide was very knowledgeable about the different places we visited and could answer our questions. It is also a very picturesque place and we had plenty of opportunities for photographs, except in the Imperial Museum where it is not allowed. My only issue were there were times when things could be more organized. We were left in downtown for shopping for over one hour, and everyone felt that was a waste of time.”

“Liked Imperial Palace visit and Santos Dumont House (optional). Crystal Palace was a dull and I didn't like a 30 minute stop at a motorway café or long visit to chocolate shop. Fixing pick up place was really bad. Place and time were changed but the guide wasn't told... Guide remained very calm with people who were late. Not easy when such a big group. I had the worst seat on the bus, next to the guide. Large sticker on the window blocked a lot of the beauty views. As with all trips I've done in Rio, I wish there was a central pickup point rather than 2 hours driving…”

The conversations regarding general knowledge of Petropolis, Rio.and Brazil, and recommendations on everything from hiking to dining were every bit worth the trip. Petropolis is a lovely, quaint city with an interesting history. One note, we skipped the brewery which apparently isn't very interesting, but instead took a drive and quick hike through Tijuca forest! Thank you for an amazing day trip!”

“De figuur van don Pedro II en zijn geliefkoosde stad trokken mij aan om deze trip te boeken. ik had wel niet verwacht dat we met een grote bus met Spaanstaligen zouden gezet worden, waarvoor we een uur moesten rondrijden om hen op te halen. Tijdverlies! ik had een minibus verwacht. Bovendien hebben we teveel tijd verspild in restaurants , cafetaria's en koffigelegenheden. de toer heeft 11u geduurd ip v 8 uren! Tijdverlies! Verder is het geen goed idee om de groepen te mixen. De Engelstaligen kregen een veel kortere uitleg, zonder grapjes, en voelden zich tekort gedaan. Al bij al, veel ergernis. Ik vond de gids wel goed onderlegd…”

“Ederson was phenomenal and we highly recommend booking a tour with him. We were a private group of 4 which made our trip customizable. At the end we stopped at the brewery and lunch was at a hidden gem restaurant with a stunning mansion on the property. He is knowledge about the whole country and his English is excellent. This trip was a much needed get away from the busy and hot streets of Rio! Really appreciate everything Ederson did for us!”
